When the lover of your dreams
is no longer in them
is it time to stop dreaming next to them?
Making love is no sexual favor
but a mystical experience of your all
the closest thing to perfection we can touch
and taste
and remember like the days when
being near this one out of all the
grains of humanity on the beach of the world
hearing their soul
tasting their heart
touching their mind
through the twinkle in their eyes
the asymmetry of their smile
that part of our uniqueness put on their face
was the entire point of being alive
And if your all isn't in it
it still might be great
but it is no longer what
dreams are made of
a very good way to occupy
some time and space
but what then?
