Don't Believe The Laughter
trouble
sincerely felt inside my lies
the more I think, I feel, I know
I'm dying
Cries...She cries behind her eyes
so no one hears
they cheer
for her strength that she shows
on the outside
rain drops, water falls
felt on top of the heads of the traveling crowd
sounds deceptive yet soothing
almost as if ... (haven't we heard this before)
an echo in the back of our collective minds
reminding the few of their debts and their dues
don't believe the laughter to be a sign of happiness
more often than not, this laughter is the only escape for the tears
"Darling, the last few minutes were worth more than a lifetime of goodbyes"
"Goodbye cruel world...and goodbye sweet one...I will wait for you"
