blasphemy be damned
blasphemy be damned
the naysayers and hardened hearts of this kingdom
know not the map of my heart
as you do
for in the emphereal mists and echoing hallways
we have walked together of old
you and i
and though my face only appears in the sweetness of your dreams
it is no less real
than yours is to me
as i toss and turn on sweat hot nights
your name close to lip
and my sweet love
hold tight
doubt not
that i will find you at the break of day
when i will follow the suns bright kiss
and the moon's soft caress
and claim that which has been promised me from the beginning
and fold you in my soul
from whence you came
so keep the faith my love
for so it is written in my heart
so it will be done
blasphemy be damned
