Earthquake
Earthquake
I was in love with you,
I still am.
But now, my heart thrives
more, because you're gone.
The day you left was the
day of the earthquake.
The walls of my heart caved in,
inside I shook deeply.
Your love was taken from me,
and the structure of my heart fell,
needing support but having no where
to turn to.
You left me alone, in the dark,
fending for myself.
You robbed me of your presence,
and stole my heart too.
The day you left was the
day of the earthquake.
My heart was shattered,
the walls of our love fell,
aftershocks hit me still,
and I cry myself to sleep
thinking about what could have been.....
