Horses dream
Horses are a gal's best friend I hear
See, they're always listening
they never talk back
but they always neigh or whinny
pretty much a yes or a no
they don't hide their feelings
in fact, it's hard to not know how they feel
they're big
strong
they usually do what they're told
they carry their rider everywhere
they stink
they need to be taken care of
fed
brushed
groomed
saddled.
Gal's get places much faster on a good horse
but a smart rider knows she can get there on her own
it's just much more tiring
and lonely
and less fun
And hey a smart horse can feed itself
live off sweet grasses
run wild in the wilderness
find a wild mare or two
but horses get old
and they'd appreciate a stable
and a bag of oats
wild oats are nice
but it's hard to find ones that taste good.
So anyway.
Sometimes a horse needs a new pair of shoes
and a nice girl to take care of it.
