dancing indigo

i moved my body
to the rhythm of sound
i could feel it moving
up through my feet, my soles
into my legs and my hips
i stepped into the song
and let it take hold of my arms
as they caressed my legs my lips
my breasts
i felt it surging through me
taking me away this pounding melody
this primal dance i did alone
without another soul
i imagined blackness surrounded by
a dark indigo light shining
and i wanted to be in that light
dancing toward that light
i could smell the muskiness of
the room i was in
my body twisted into the lines of song
it called to me beckoned to me
and kept me there
i let it touch my lips
and kiss me with its soaring sound
its elation at being one
with movement, physical movement
and i being brought to a climax
so strong through passionate tendency
