Crystalline
into darkness, climb i to sleep
weariness the grain i reap
softly crossing ghostly threshold
drift i down to mirrored deep
images lone, flow slowly past
so many shots of one, so fast
an image of a tear, crystalline shimmer
carressing cheek the very last
as i turned away, this is what i keep
images of a tear to count , not sheep
each flashing image shreding my heart
yet each flashing image, i carry, to sleep
