Promise of Rainbows and no More Tears

let her cry
there is more to her than the tears
its a flood
its the gate opened
its her liquid heart pouring
into puddles over your own

let her cry
those tears each have their own piece to speak
a watery nightmare
the loss of some supposed love
hurt
or trust broken
in every drop

let her cry
because there is an end in sight
and if your words shine love
in between her misty eyed worries
perhaps somewhere soon
will come
a rainbow.
