Why I Love Tom Petty
He gives me all these wonderful
Insights into his mind
Along with the great tunes to hum
As I fly along
By the seat of my pants
Trying to keep my head up in this world
Like telling me, I need to know
That you don’t do me like that
Cause, I belong amongst wildflowers
Where I’ll feel free, sigh
I mean, I know I got lucky
And I wont back down
From, running down a dream
Cause I’m free falling
Into the great wide open
A rebel without a clue

But then he pisses me off
Telling me that I don’t know
How it feels to be him.
Well duh, who the heck ever
Knows how it feels. But the
Thinking is correct, and the tune is
Great and that’s why
I just love Tom Petty!
