I give you my heart freely
trust is not even an issue you see
because I give it unconditionally
do with it as you will

fold staple and mutilate it
shred it to ribbons if you so desire
just return it please when you are through
that I may tend to the healing
and offer it anew when it is ready to dance again

she needs a word of kindness right now...
he needs a hand to rise above the pain today...
they need a smile, a touch, a kindness...
when I need to give of the flow within me
to balance the drought so evident in another...
unconditionally.
