Craving

I can see you, you know

Sillhoutted by the porch light
standing against the pale blue siding
cracked and peeling from the abuse of previous tenants
It seems as though there's a wall around you
You seem seperated from your surroundings
an observer in a sea of wanderers
all scanning the crowd for differnt reasons
a drink
a companion
sex perhaps?
As if its too much you tilt your head back and close your eyes
Your chest rises and falls asif you breathed a sigh of relief
or maybe its distress
Your eyes open again and in that split moment
somehow manage to find mine
Now its my turn to sigh
only it differs from yours -
being a sigh of lust

I can see you, you know.
