Under a Harvest Moon


Golden beams falling
Caressing everything they touch
Bathing this night in an amber beauty
Of glimmering glowing shine

And your loosened hair tonight reflects
The very color of my heart
Painted in the same golden hues
I see reflected in your eyes

And in step with tradition
I offer a silent prayer to our creator above
For the precious gift of your love
As the harvest moon magnifies my gratitude a hundredfold

Now take my hand m'love
Dance with me
Sway with me slowly under this golden glow
Slip your body to mine, tight as skin.
Let's get lost in each other
As you gaze into my soul again
With those loving eyes
You and me
Under another Harvest Moon.
