Life

As the SUN comes into my life … My smile grows wider. My eyes sparkle more. My heart beats faster.
As the MOON rises  in the sky … I know I am under the same stars. That the day is continuing.
As the FLOWERS bloom … The love grows. The colors are true. The feelings are there.
As the BIRDS fly … The music they make are like soft-spoken words. The bonding they share.
As the RAIN comes … The cleansing process starts. The bond between us grows  stronger.  
For my LOVE is true to one. The thought of two making one is so strong.
The SOUL MATE of my life is found. The one I have been searching for is here.
All because I learned not to settle for second best. I now have you in my life.

All my life I thought I would be alone forever. How my past was going to catch up to me and how I would have to run. I now know by talking about my feelings, thoughts, and emotions that I am a great loving person that someone cares about. How I have made marks on others, and some were positive and some were negative. How we all have to learn from our mistakes. I know I have bettered myself by learning and listening to others. Realizing that I have great morals that I have learned along the way. That real friends will stick by your though thick and thin. That only I can make the final decision for myself. That I am in control of my dreams and future. That to change my life’s outcome I have to know what needs to happen. I learned what love is and how it should be an equal give and take. I learned that when you’re a clean freak that you do not want slobs for roommates, that child abuse is not fair for the helpless child, that drinking and drugging only makes you stupid and age faster, that smoking makes you gasp for air. I have learned that when you like yourself that others like you too. I learned that owning a house is a lot of work. I learned the only way to live is to be social and to express your needs and wants to others. I know I am a better person as I grow and learn everyday.  

I have never been so happy in my life as I am today. I made changes in my life to better myself to make me understand me, and why my past has made me the way I am today. I may look back and think my past was awful, but someone else had it worse. And if my past never happened I would not be where I am today. For I give credit to all my friends and family who have helped me in my life to make me ME.
