Things we didn't know
Sometimes the words you'd say
Would make me cry
Seems you wanted to hurt me
But I never understood why
I gave you my love
Along with my heart
And evertime we fought
It tore me apart
Were you ever sorry?
You just left the room,leaving me to cry
Did you know that when you did
Inside my heart..I died?
Then the other day something happened
It was just the other night
Who could have known that me and you
Would be sharing candle light
How I felt with you beside me
You reached out and pulled me close
It was then I was overcome
And my tears started to flow
With your arms again around me
Held tight within your embrace
You looked at me so lovingly
gently wiped the tears from my face
For it was then, You told me things
Things..I never knew
You said How much you love me
and how precious I was to you.
Why didn't you tell me long ago..when I needed to hear this from you?
