A simple day
This is not a poem,
These are simple words to brighten your day,
When you get to work, let these words welcome you,
Let the day start with a simple note,
A simple promise to yourself,
That you will try and be a simple human being,
Talk not to hurt anyone,
Eat to share it with someone and relish every morsel,
Write a hand written letter to your parents,
Thank them for giving you the gift of life,
Smile at yourself to rekindle your love for the universe,
Water a plant to emboss your devotion towards Mother Nature,
Say a few good words to show your love for your fellow beings,
Embrace yourself like how you extend both your hands to hug your child,
Submit and imbibe yourself to the totality of your inner being,
Touch and feel the softness of your skin, take a deep breath and relax for a while.
