Sacrifice...
I said I love you and you said you don’t,
That’s perfect, every action has an equal or opposite reaction,
And least did I expect that you would repeat,
I simply put down my feelings in front of you,
They need not necessarily be the same,
And what makes you so happy,
To believe that you being with someone else,
Would make me more unhappy,
Strange is the way I love,
I smile within myself, because this is selfless love,
It’s meaning more meaningful than love itself,
It was born to offer and not just to gain,
If only you could fathom that sacrifice is also a faculty of love.
