deep purple sea
your black cloak
couldn't hide you
couldn't dispell
the illumination i saw
the ripples of light
that maintained their motion
on your skin
your skin was a sea of black
with light cresting, moving back
when your body twisted its way
around
the deepest of purples
danced in you
alive, breathing gasping for freedom
from your skin reaching toward me
fascinating, your sea of deep purple
i touched you, dipped my finger
into you, i saw your body shudder
your liquid
i cupped you in my hands
feeling the flow of you against
my skin, tingling
i put you to my lips
and drank you in
until my skin
was a liquid purple
sea
and i couldn't hide from you
with my black cloak
