plummet
i coughed in gargoyle ecstacy
my stone wings and my stare
confused my contradictions
i leapt from ledges through thin air
cast down from her cathedral
holding holiness at bay
my granite suit
my parachute
of stitches woven from her hair
turning in the updrafts
spiralling towards earth
i kiss her name on passing doves
that seem to know what love is worth
they float off with sunset
the full moon settles down
i'll break apart
encrypt my heart
in the solitude of holy ground
