Sometimes the feelings come close
To the surface once again
And the bones all hurt
Telling me my age in a jumble of creaks

And all I really want to hear, is the rain fall down
And cry along
The sound of tears to me.

When I wake alone
Dream arms drifting away with the dark
And I’m so all by myself
