you dropped the ball,
fumbled a bit,
stumbled on your tongue,
and yes it hurt
and no, I wasn't happy---
but now you're being a spoil sport.
You have offered to commit
seppuku of the heart
to atone---
but I shall not let you.
That's way too easy,
and like they say
in the snooty expensive shops,
you break it, you bought it.
