that vivid,
so tangible
that my taste
and scent
and feel
were all around you?
Did you think I did not
know what I did
after the first moment
when your touch
turned playful to passion?
And when my eyes blaze
with the sum total
of need
love
and oh yes darling man,
devotion,
did you think
it was less
than the choice I made
standing in your arms
looking deep in your eyes
and knowing
that this was where
I was meant to be?
