My Thoughts on the Subject

Approximately half the people in the civilized world
make that approximately half the people in the U.S.
want what they can't have
maybe they hang out with a new somebody else
for comfort or companionship or sex
but they are holding onto somebody from their past
or longing for someone who is out of their reach
someone who is with someone else
so they console themselves with half-ass relationships
and keep their deepest thoughts
hidden in a box marked Do Not Disturb Under Penalty
of Disenchantment.
