A Long Time Ago

A long time ago when I was all alone, I wished for a woman to call my own.

When my hopes came to not and my dreams faded way, in the back of my mind some hope stayed.

So came a time when love was out of my mind that I met a woman one day I'd call mine. I became her friend and she bacame mine, our friendship grew in remarkable time.

We both went through changes and both of us grew.
We marveled at what we had, for both of us it was new.

Communication and trust, respect and love, they burst forth from us like the sun above.
These jewels that we have are priceless as life, nothing else compares to my wonderful wife.

She lifts my spirits when I am down, and hugs away my fears when she sees me frown.

To really know her is to love her as I truley can, for she is the ONLY woman whos made me feel like a man.

I have never been so happy and at peace in my life until you,  MILLIE became my wife.

For you are more than a beautiful woman to adore, your my life and so much more
