she used to be good with numbers
kinda like albert einstein
(only she wore socks)
we're talking about a girl who
could do her taxes in her head
she was really cool
not just because she was a
numerical genius
but because of everything
because she was good at everything and
everyone loved her but
she was missing this one important thing
at first you almost didn't even notice it
wherever she went--
whatever she did--
however much she smiled--
(all by myself)
there was a time when love didn't matter
now she's afraid that she will always be alone
