Daisy May in March
Purple elbows
Motley toes
Springs a cummin
Adjust your nose
Sweep the dirt
Scrub the floor
All that dust (cough)
Is such a bore
Walls need painting
Rugs need a scrub
Been forever
Since I seen a bug
Dogs need a washin
Car needs a bath
Fill them trash cans
Clear that path
Fresh and clean now
Sparkles like the dew
But I’d rather rite love poems
Or be a kissin on you. (Oh yes!)
