All those months of pain.
I watched you walk right by me.
I admired you from a distance,
Always dreaming of what could be.
I never thought you'd come around.
I never thought you cared.
Until that day you took my hand,
And showed me you weren't scared.
I have feared that I would be hurt,
But you showed me how to trust.
You showed me that this is pure love,
It isn't just driven by lust.
