CANNOT

I want to write a poem for you..
   But cannot  rhyme the words..
I want to sing a song for you..
   But cannot charm the birds..

I  want to see you look at me..
   But cannot  see your face..
I  want to skip and  walk  with you..
   But cannot  keep your pace..

I  want to be there by your  side..
   But cannot  find you there..
I  want to hear your voice each day..
   But    do  not   think  I  dare..

I  want  to look into the sky..
   But cannot  see your star....
I  want to look into your eyes..
   But  know not where you are.....
