````` COLLECTING YOUR RAIN ``````
Collecting Your Rain
Small drops of water
fall into my heart,
Each holds you
tiny taste of delicious love,
They fill me with hope
of holding you in my arms,
Spilling over the rim
I drink you up,
an unquenchable thirst,
to taste your love
wet on my lips,
to feel your rain
as it falls softly upon my body,
teasing on a hot summer day,
Salt of sweat
on the tip of my tongue
brings the need to drink desire
as your cool water runs over me
collecting low in my soul,
wanting to hold you
but to know that you are too much
as you fill me, tidewaters rise,
surround my mind, drowning the ache,
the rain calls my heart home.......
