Dark Knight
Dark Knight
I used to live out in the sun
I was a servant of the light
But all these years and circumstance
Have made me a Dark Knight
So now I prowl by midnight’s glow
And stalk the easy prey
But deep inside where night can’t reach
I’m longing for the Day
The Dark Lord owns my will I guess
And fills me with his Hate
But I refuse to believe that this must be my fate
And so for now I’ll play the role
Beware me when I’m near
But if you dare get close enough
You just might see a tear.
