' The Dreamer '

Don't laugh at the dreamer who stares into space
With a lost and faraway look on his face

Don't think for a  moment that he wastes his time
Cause he thinks and he ponders  way out of line

Only a dreamer could ever forsee
Lightening  bolts  harnessed into energy

While others would run in fear of the rain
Seeing the destruction through electrical pain

Flashes of terror which oft  touch the ground
Burning and tearing  the tallest  tree down

He sees way beyond what others do see
The fiery rod  has  a  pure destiny

Turning the fury of  natures feared  dart
Into Tv's and  radios,  and internet  art

So much that  we have in this modern age
Came from the dreamer ,  the mythical  sage

Machines whirl and whip, and carry the load
Wheels turn and twist,  and heat our abode

Kitchens are  filled with electrical  maids
Washing and  cooling,  and cutting with blades

Think what our lives would be at this  day
If dreamers had never,  had their own way

Don't laugh at the dreamer, who stares at  the sky
Who grasps at the moon beams, and someday will fly
