EXT.-Venice Beach-Day
Shelli is wearing a black one-piece swimsuit. Aries is wearing red
swimming trunks. They're both sitting up on their beach towels watching
all the people walk by.
Shelli: It's definitely not the same California the Beach Boys sang
about.
Aries: I can't believe it took me 28 years to get here. I should've
been born here, damn it.
Shelli: I was born here. Look at all the good that did me.
Aries: Come on, babe. Cheer up. Feel that sunshine. Smell that salt
and coconut oil. Check that cotton candy blue sky and those sapphire
blue waves.
Shelli: Skin cancer. Jellyfish. Sharks.
Aries: What am I gonna do with you, girl?
Shelli: Spank me and send me to bed.
