New Friend

I said a prayer a few months ago,

I asked to meet a new friend,

A male friend,

Nothing romantic or intimate,

Just someone to hang out with,

Have fun with,

And I think he's been right under my nose,

I just didn't take the time to notice him,

He's very intelligent,

Has a great sense of humor,

And is a very nice guy,

I just wanted to take a little time,

And say thank you to the "Big Man",

Because I finally opened my eyes,

And found His answer.
