I was so confused,
My heart didn't know where to turn,
My body wanted something,
But my mind knew it was wrong,
I'm glad I didn't give up something
That is very important to me.
I thought I needed a caress and a kiss,
But what I am longing for is a hand to hold,
Someone to talk to like I used to,
Someone to share my life with.

I'm very happy being who I am,
But there is something that I miss,
And I will never settle for less,
