Hope is
When you sense the one you love behind you
Or see his shadow nearby and turn around to look
And see that no one’s there.
When your heart jumps as you catch a whiff 
Of his unforgettable scent
But he’s many miles away and probably with someone else.
When you think that everything’s finally changing
For nothing but the best 
And turn around to see him walking out on you.
