My Intuition
My intuition, has yet to be wrong
When it comes to you
I knew...I knew before you did
I knew it all, I knew the story
I knew I'd fall, I knew you'd fall
And we both got bolder, in our speech
One day I woke up and thought,
"He's going to kiss me today."
And that afternoon, you did
God, I was scared, even as I was happy
It was just my intuition...
Things were good, but I knew they were temporary
I knew...had this terrible, nagging voice
Screeching, in the back of my head
My intuition...
It told me you would go, even before the thought
Had graced your mind
And you left, somehow still, it surprised me
And I let it hurt me, I let you hurt me
But, my intuition told me to let you go
That was the right thing to do...
Now, I can sense you near, I can feel you near
My intuition is at it again...
