Love Lost
“Lost Love”
He had caramel colored eyes
With tiny flecks of gold
Strange and magical eyes
That seemed to look into her soul
Just being near him
Could make her knees shake
She’d gladly give it all up for him
One kiss is all it’d take
Like an ancient wizards spell
His very voice controlled her
The deep resonate tones
Were enough to make her surrender
In misty dreams she held him
Wrapped tight in her arms
He would be her protector
Shielding her from harm
But in the bright light of the day
Those dreams they could not last
For he was just a memory
Of a lost love from her past.
