The Pathway To Love
To you from me, a greeting
a message warm and true,
of love, faith, and trust,
to last our whole lives through,
to you from me a promise,
as true as heaven above,
a heart that is yours forever,
to you from me with love.
The heart is like a garden
with fairest skies above,
and every little pathway
leads to someone we love,
and in my hearts own garden
beneath the skies so blue
I love to walk the pathway
that leads me straight to you!!!
i'm lonesome, I guess,
cause whatever i do
my thoughts keep turning back to you
wherever i go, I feel your there
and the things i see you somehow share,
my heart grows warm in the same old way,
and if you're thinking of me today
you may feel my affection deep and true,
and somehow I know that I will always
