Mud Pies
baking mud pies in the sun
jabbing them with a stick
to see if they're done
I miss the nonsense
the innocence
touching the earth
getting my hands dirty
not caring about worms
or germs
I think we should start a mud pie bakery today
it won't matter at all
if we don't get any customers
