Memories of Nashville

And you
sweet vision
beneath the moon.
How shall I ever think
my heart could forget you there?

The lake
like a dark ensilvered crystal
shimmering at your back
the pier
white in the moonlight
like snow beneath your feet
the breeze
soft and moving
stirring
the lines of your dress
the tresses
of your midnight silvered hair
the sweet sounds
of the night
singing softly
of the magic of you
in the moon's embrace.

The days of my life
will come and go.
There is nothing
that age does not conquer
or time destroy
except Love
growing stronger even in memory.

And you
sweet vision
beneath the moon.
How shall I ever think
my heart could forget you there?
