Blind to Color
Time travels forever,
And space is never ending,
So tell me why did you needed more.
Yellow sunlight fades black in the sky,
I can’t see you any more.
If your crimson burning eyes,
Can turn to ice like that, well,
Then why couldn’t you change before,
You just gave up so damn fast on us,
And walked out my broken door.
Black and white pictures all fall,
From my ceiling and my walls,
I can’t see you anymore.
Blind to color in my past,
Keep things simple so they’d last,
Didn’t know better before.
The blue tide rushed in with you,
I could not resist, but still,
I could not brace myself for you,
What I was once is all lost by now,
We both became something new.
I looked for your white heart,
I saw right through that bullshit,
Saw who your touch denies to be,
I guess we knew eachother too well,
Thought: I love you, You love me.
Black and white pictures all fall,
From my ceiling and my walls,
I can’t see you anymore.
Blind to color in my past,
Keep things simple so they’d last,
Didn’t know better before.
