only an angel
when an angel wishes
for one to love
she seeks not a reflection
of her purported self
but a trueer image of what
she's professed not to be
only when given face
to her holiness
can her wings lighten enough
to bare the weight of her humility
and enable her to soar
as an angel
amongst others
who purport to be
