Holy Palmer's Touch

Hand in hand
Palm to palm
A kiss like that between
Montague and Capulet
A romance for the ages
A love of the purest kind
Hand in hand
Lip to lip
A kiss like that between
Ophelia and her Hamlet
A romance torn by murder
A romance torn by madness

Hand to lip
Palm to cheek
A kiss all it's own
Unique to all couples
No matter how similar they may seem

Two Shakesperean romances broken
Mixed to create the perfect tale
A tale of love most pure
Not tainted with pain or death

Lip to lip
Palm on stomach
A sweet lovers caress
The touch of a soulmate

How often can one feel such a touch?
HOw often does one meet their soulmate?

Soul to soul
Palm to palm
Lip to lip
Palm to palm

All returns to Holy Palmer's Touch
To the meaning of true love
Shakesperean sonnets dancing
High above Poesian clouds and
Dickensonian musings

Is it palm to palm?
Is it lip to lip?

Or is it soul to soul, body to body,
Love to Love

One loves Another with all they have
Another loves One with everything
Is it not Soul to Soul?
Is it not life to life, half to half?

There is a surety
A feeling you get
You just know

You've found your soulmate

When palms fit to palms
Lips fit to lips
Souls fit to souls

When your half of the whole
No longer feels like half,
but all.
