SHUFFLED
the cards were shuffled and the new hand dealt
slowly the cards are examined
i look and see that these are not as good
no, not nearly as good as the ones dealt before.
so i sit and think, think and ponder
i'm ahead in this game ...so far ahead
i should pick up and walk my ass away
but my brain and heart are always in conflict
my brain pleads ...quit ..dont lose it all
cash in your chips
do it now
let a new player take your spot
my heart counters .. don't be foolish
let the new player wait
dont ever give an edge to an opponent
not in cards, nor love, nor war
and though in my heart of hearts i know
that i should listen to my head
deep down i know ...
i will stay till i lose it all
