THOUGHTS OF THE LOST

You came into my life when I was blue
You stayed long enough to make me love you
Love like seasons come and they go
Tonight I feel a loss that only you could know
If I live two lifetimes there won't be another
That can make me feel what I feel with you my lover
Life deals it steals and leaves us wanting
What we had and felt it leaves us douting
Is it too late to rekindle that fire
Or do we let it go for some other desire
So my darlin do I go on and try to forget
Or do I turn around and start from where we met
If I could take back those words that were said
This heart and mind of mine wouldn't feel so dead
What do you say do we give it another try
Or do we sit by the wayside and cry
Your voice that sweet sound I haven't heard so long
Those last words I spoke to you I know now were wrong
