Tracy Lee and Me

Last night the moon was full
I wondered if you saw
And wondered if in seeing it
You thought of me at all
You used to let me tell you
Things I knew about the sky
Now there’s only space between us
And I can’t remember why
We’d sit outside beneath the stars
And tell each other dreams
Then go inside
And then to bed
How long ago that seems
And so last nite I did a thing
I must impart to you
I hung my head and said a prayer
The last one of my life
I asked a God I’m not sure exsists
To let you be my wife
