My Secret Wish

You are my wish come true,
But if only people knew,
That all along you have been my secret wish.

I dreamed of love and happiness,
Of times without pain and sadness.
And all my dreams have come true through you, my secret wish.

I searched for love in all the wrong places.
I tried to get you out of my mind by seeking other faces.
But my love for you i could not stop, because you are my secret wish.

I couldn't let my feelings show,
But now they never cease to flow.
My love is always growing, for you, my secret wish.

I had to hold back myself, because all I wanted to do was shout,
Because I knew that you would soon find out,
That you are my secret wish.

One day you let me in your life,
And showed me that i didn't have to live with torment and strife,
Because you are my secret wish.

When I first felt your gentle lips become one with mine in the most wonderful and passionate kiss,
I knew that was one thing that I had never experienced, but one thing that I had always missed,
A kiss from you, my secret wish.

You have now made my life feel right.
And everytime you hold me tight,
You show me that you are, and always will be, my secret wish come true.
