The Art of Unapologetic Immaturity

let's be immature tonight
let's not act our age
let's be hopelessly puerile
let's be kindergarten klutzes
junior high juvenile delinquents
we can call people up and say stupid things
we can go to Wal-Mart and bounce bouncy multi-colored balls
go to Dave & Buster's and win tickets at Skee Ball
talk in the code
that only we understand
maybe even throw rolls of toilet paper up in the trees
no...strike that
we need every roll of toilet paper that we own
"because you're full of shit"
the peanut gallery mutters
yes but we won't
wake up
with a hangover
or a list of regrets
that only come from trying too hard
to act an age
we no longer feel...
