Sirius

Bright stars of cosmos
appear in night sky,
the winter triangle
naked to the eye.

Cold winters darkness,
the earth now moans,
moon waxes so pale,
chills to the bone.

Eclipses of winter
effects are shown,
lives are shattered,
earthlings thrown.

Yet stars keep moving,
moon through the sky.
They keep re-arranging,
While humanity dies.
