Empty Dreams
I loved you more than once,
But my duality was greater than you knew,
More than you could handle
and it got the best of me.
Now it's gone.
There's a part of me now,
Black and charred and smouldering.
It's where the love I had for you lived.
That fire suffocated;
Lack of fuel, lack of love.
