My Sweet Valentine Treat For You
(Will You Be My Banana Split?)
Only we leave this banana whole
Long thick with a slight curve
Fits into the dish just right
You start with rich dark sticky chocolate
To cover two mounds, the kind that you
Have to lick the dish completely clean for.
Then golden yellow Hawaiian pineapple
Sweet succulent to chew gently and suck
the juices out, how heavenly.
Next, we have red luscious strawberries
with sweet ripe flavor ready to burst
in your mouth with sweetness
Top that with sweet cream gently
whipped by hand. Then sprinkle with
heart shaped cinnamon candies and sweetie
my Valentines Day present is almost complete.
But Baby, how do you feel about
warm caramel,
butterscotch,
pistashio,
butter pecan?
Yes Darlin all with real whipped cream!
If that’s not adventurous, or exciting enough
how about sweet sticky honey, with bees?
